We are finally done with BunnyBunnychan! Now it's on the hands of the printer, so let us rejoice and hope that everything comes out perfectly! *HOPES*

For those that don't know yet (how come you don't  know? I talk about it all the time!) Bunny Love is the second volume of Gutter's collection of anthologies, "Psychopomp". The first one was Fantastic Baby, a fantasy-themed anthology. This one is Bunny Love, an erotica anthology.

It's a naughty child!

Or more like a traumatized, sexy, turbulent, passionate child. As the first volume, it features both short stories (for which I did some art thingies, which you can see beloooow) and comics, plus a wonderfully beautiful gallery of pretty.

Yes, it's THAT pretty.

Also, it's a big step from the first volume. We were five artists+writers on the first book. Now we are sixteen. From 140+ pages we went to 150+. And we were able to cover most of the printing costs thanks to crowd funding (and for *that* I will love you all forever. Your support is the one that allows us to keep on fightiiiing!), which I had always wanted to try. Thank youuuu.

You know, now that I am talking with more art-related people, I've been getting the "where can I find your work? where have you published things?" question more often. To which I answer that, well, I've self-published a lot (a loooooooooooooot) and there are some thingies by me in some OMGOTH awesome projects I was invited to take part of. 

Because, well, with the years I've learnt that I just love doing this. The whole "making the book". Putting it together, seeing it come to liiiiife. There's so much freedom and magick and wonderfulness in that. And the "come play with us in our book, lookie, here you have this many pages and a theme, go wild!", which I also enjoy.

I was also told, by some, how people overlook self-published things. To that... well, I really don't give a damn o.o Why are we thinking and talking so much when all the guts-instinct is saying "go this waaaaay"? Gogogogogo!

Putting so much care and effort into making something grow is too much fun, plus an awesome learning experience. All the lack of sleep, back ache and drama? All the mistakes? pfft, that's just comes with the job. There's so much I've learnt on each project I was a part of, so much I've learnt on this book, that will be seen on the next, as if to care about external noise.

I really *really* hope you enjoy it one it's out! ^_^ It's been fun.

I haven't been gone! I've been... busy! Mostly with writing, for one of Gutter's projects. But now that all that's mostly done, it's time to tackle my entry for Psychopomp II. Considering we already have plenty of great short stories, this time I am (very) likely to stick to comics. I'll be posting all the behind the scenes over here, so let's get set, ready.... go!

Aclaración sobre la convocatoria abierta para Psychopomp II, en base a preguntas que estuvimos recibiendo: 

1. Blanco y negro significa que se pueden usar todos los grises que quieran. 

2. El material puede ser visualmente explícito (o no, no es un factor determinante) 

3. No nos importan los géneros de los personajes involucrados o sus orientaciones sexuales. Nos importan las historias a nivel argumento y construcción y cuán estéticamente interesantes sean las ilustraciones.

Si alguien tiene más preguntas, estoy acá para responderlas

Further data on the open call for Psychopomp II, based on questions we've been receiving these days:

1. Black and white means that you can use all the grey shades of the grey-rainbow as well. "black-as many grey shades as you wish-white"

2. The material can be sexually explicit, or not. This is not a determining factor  (meaning you can draw people having sex, and their sexual organs, without a need to censor them. Bear in mind that this is an erotica anthology, not a porn magazine, so if your story is nothing but a bunch of close ups of penises and vaginas and "yes, harder, harder!" lines, it's very likely to be refused and not included.). 

3. We don't care about the gender of the characters nor about their sexual orientation. We care about the plot of the stories and how well-written they are; and how aesthetically interesting the illustrations are.

Además de nuestro equipo in-house y los maravillosos invitados que solemos stalkear, esta vez decidimos expandirnos!  Es por eso que Gutter Glitter y Riot of the Lambs los invitan a participar de nuestra próxima antología de historietas y cuentos breves, centrada en el género erótico.

ESPECIFICACIONES TÉCNICAS

§          La cantidad de material que puede enviar cada participante es libre.  The sky is the limit!  

§          Formato final del libro: A5, interiores blanco y negro.

§          Idioma:  Castellano

Especificaciones para cuentos breves:

§          250 a 1500 palabras

§          La única limitación a nivel contenido en este número en particular es que los personajes deben ser mayores de edad.

§          Longitud: de 1 a 6 páginas . Blanco y Negro

Archivo final:

§                      Formato: A4, Orientación Vertical. Blanco y Negro

Criterio de selección:

Nuestros libros  giran alrededor de los momentos de intuición de nuestra Art Diktator, que los va desarrollando en base a gut-instinct. Por lo que el criterio en general es bastante subjetivo. En este caso en particular, preferimos los trabajos que sean interesantes y con una tendencia mayor a la sensualidad sobre la sexualidad.

A nuestra Art Diktator le gusta que tengan algo edgy.

A nuestra Presidente le gusta que sean visualmente agradables.

Notese la subjetividad.

IMPORTANTE

¿Cómo participar?

Enviando un mail a info(at)gutterglitter(dot)net con un preview JPG en baja resolución de los trabajos con los que les interese participar (a los artistas seleccionados se les pedirá el archivo en 300 dpi para impresión, en tamaño A4 y los datos que desean que figuren en el libro –nombre o pseudónimo, mail, blog, sitio web, etc- ).  En caso de los cuentos, por favor enviarlos a la misma dirección de mail.

Cada artista seleccionado recibirá un ejemplar del número en que fue publicado.

Gutter Glitter tiene solo los derechos de publicación (no exclusiva), difusión y exhibición (en presentaciones, eventos, etc) de las obras seleccionadas; no pudiendo realizar ningún tipo de transacción económica sobre las mismas, excepto la venta de libros.

Preferimos trabajos que no se hayan publicado previamente, pero somos flexibles al respecto.

Sure, there are others that are more visually striking, but I am really pleased with the sequencing here *wags tail in self-satisfaction*

(and I do believe that the most important thing in comics are the script, the pacing and le narrative, of which art is nothing but a humble albeit aesthetically focused servant. No matter how striking the art, a bad script and bad narrative will still make a bad comic)

The title says it all, huh? XD Cover for the upcoming fantasy-themed anthology Neurovicky, Asphodel and I made, with Cerine as kidnapped guest artist. The baby itself is over 140 pages, so it's pretty long when compared to its siblings.
